Our Adaptation
Location
You won't find it hard to get to where I am. Just see the Google map I have provided, a straightforward and effortless map. Using the Zoom 'in' and 'out' icons you can get an exact understanding of this wonderful desert's position.
The Climate
The inhabitants of Earth think the most distant planet is Pluto which is 4.3 billion km away from their planet. However, they do not know about our planet, Dunzini, being 9.5 billion km away. We have adapted to the utter cold so with the temperatures being nice a 'warm' we can get rid of our newly invented thermos jackets. We will definitely have no difficulty in this area.
Landforms & Landscapes
Flora & Fauna
We can make use of the plants and animals in the Great Victoria Desert. The plants are a good source of nutrients and there is a variety and plentiful amount of plants. This will be sufficient for our colony. However, we must only take what we need as we do not want to disturb life and there routine already there. While being in this spectacular desert, I witnessed many animals and how they live. It is very interesting and thought-provoking. I thought that we could use some of their ideas to assist us in our adaptation to the desert and maybe even additions to make it less of a struggle. They seem to migrate a lot to search for food and especially water. Well instead of walking for miles in the Desert we could use our Dunz-mobiles to get around faster, making our access to food and water prompt.

Quartz and limestone will help the Dunz that struggle with the adjustment in temperature. It will cool them down if they cannot cope with the intense heat straight away. Our salt professionals back in Dunzini can create a perfect mixture for us to keep ourselves clean. Just the right amount of salt and squirt of lime for us to brush our teeth (instead of the slimy toothpaste humans use) because the right amount of salt kills the bacteria and doesn't ruin our skin or gums.
